Will India complete their vengeance on England?

India has just finished off disappointing England summer where, they ended up losing Test series 4-0, 5-match one-day series to 3-0 and lost only T20.

England will be touring India for 5 ODI’s and only T20 which is scheduled from October 14, however, Indian team which suffered plenty injuries in the England series. There many key players in the injury list, Indian spearhead Zaheer Khan pulled hamstring injury later turned out to ankle injury, which indeed required surgery.

Indian main strength was their demolishing batting attack for past decade has also lost the key players as the top order has topped the injuries as their openers Virender Sehwag was out due to shoulder injury, while his partner Gautam Gambhir, has faced continuous blows in the Test series and ruled out of one-day internationals. Little master, Sachin Tendulkar has failed to reach his 100th ton was later ruled out of ODI’s due to toe injury.

The young talent Rohit Sharama who impressed in practise matches played only one ball and fractured his finger, eventually ruled out the series. Yuvraj Singh was also initial part of Indian squad but injury taken him out of the series.

Team India, pacers has least to talk about them as none of them failed to create an impression except Praveen Kumar, who swung the new ball very well. Ishant Sharma has bowled his heart out, also injured himself and made unavailable for ODI series and also misses upcoming England series and decided to undergo surgery after India’s tour of Australia later this December.

Earlier Indian squad for first two ODI’s have been announced, leaving Harbhajan Singh in the 15 member squad. Gambhir will be key in the Indian batting line up to held the innings at one end as stroke makers MS Dhoni and Raina can play their natural game, while Rahane retained his place. Has the Indian bowling line-up can rattle England in-form batsmen, or it will be Indian strong batting order to do the job of Team India.
