England clinches series, 4th ODI ended in a tie


England has completed the series victory as the 4th ODI against India in the NatWest trophy was ended in a tied as the D/L method rain forced the players off the field with 7 balls remaining. England lead the 5 match series with 2-0 and only one more game remaining in the series. 

Rain might have denied the hopes of Indian team first win of the England tour. The inclement weather has interrupted the match in twice where once the touring team was in favor to win the game and the other time it was the England was ahead as D/L method. Finally the match was abounded due to rain and match was ended in a tie with 7 balls reaming and England need 11 runs where India need one 1 wicket as Broad was injured, both teams was sure of winning the game.

India batting first posed a powerful total of 280/5 in 50 overs, openers has a streaky start specially Rahane (38) was very tentative in the start. He managed to stay at the crease and hit some convincing and unconvincing strokes soon he perished to Broad followed by Patel (27), R Dravid (19) and V Kholi (19). Then skipper MS Dhoni (76) and S Raina (84) has set the tone to Indian innings last 10 overs were the pair too attack to the opposition. 

England come out to bat chasing 281 runs to win lost their live wire Kieswetter (12) and later their captain Cook (12) both gone in the bowling of RP Singh. Ian Bell (54) and Ravi Bopara (96) have put the lid fall of wickets and both completed their half centuries. Bopara has almost won the game for England has perished right at the last ball of the match. There is a lot of drama on the field in last 10 overs of England innings, India lucky managed with a tie by picking up 2 wickets in 2 balls. Suresh Raina and Ravi Bopara both share the Man of the Match trophy for their spectacular innings.
